After graduating in old-school graphics and illustration, somewhere in the early nineties, Bart quickly moved to digital design to work on interactive presentations and award-winning multimedia titles. He designed (and developed) his first professional website in ’96. A ‘static’ website of at least 100 html pages decorated with a bunch of grotesquely flickering gifs. After cofounding a music dot-com at the end of the millennium, his portfolio grew, firmly rooted in digital, with the design of hundreds of websites for artists, bands and online media companies. In Dubai Bart started working more in e-marketing and digital advertising, designing promotional micro-sites for brands such as Galaxy, Evian and Lancaster and explored user experiences for AXA, Dubai Bonds and Jazeera Airways. In 2011 he started working as Head of Creative for Rolling Stone Magazine Middle-East, during which he also worked on integrated proposals and digitally led projects for Hyundai, Palmer’s Middle East and India, and for Ocóo Beauty, just to name a few. It was at this particular moment he met some of the awesome pinkies he is still working with today. Bart has a passion for art and design and is currently broadening his academic knowledge by studying for his MBA degree at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
