Lama grew up with a book in hand, plugged earphones and thoughts shaped in the form of words dripping on random pieces of paper – at a fairly high speed. Her bright smile is just a drop in her ocean of optimism, as she makes sure life’s challenges are presented as nothing but opportunities she is to embark on to keep up with her growing (creative) self.
Having gotten her BA in Integrated Marketing Communications from the American University in Cairo with an honorable mention of high honors, she didn’t stop at her love for advertising and marketing as she coupled her degree with just the perfect match: a minor in Creative Writing. After all, she does believe writing complements everything there is- especially when delivering marketing communications.
A fan of taking on big projects and executing those in the most awesome of ways, she has developed a full IMC campaign for Mobinil that was granted the “Best IMC Campaign” & “Best Media Campaign” awards back in her graduating year. Lama is the go to person for creating and managing strategic social media and word-of-mouth marketing campaigns, as well as relevant and effective online content for a vast array of projects. She is responsible for tracking brands’ social media efforts and coming up with competitive analysis that would, as a result, help the developed social activities convert.
